The works consisted of the demolition of the former Eircom Building situated in a busy city centre location at Adelaide Road, Dublin. The demolition works were undertaken in the immediate vicinity of LUAS infrastructure with cable support poles situated within the protective scaffolding approximately one metre from the structure.
Key elements of the project involved the removal of 2500ms of asbestos roof felt, design & installation of temporary works to support adjacent former railway vaults, façade removal and mechanical demolition of the structure.
