BDCE were engaged as PSCS for the demolition of former warehousing / office situated in the bustling Smithfield Market. Works involved service termination, soft strip and structural demolition. The works involved the implementation of noise, dust and vibration monitoring. Traffic management plans were implemented under DCC permits with BDCE liaising with stakeholder of nearby properties over the course of the works to keep them fully informed of our activities. Following on from structural demolitions BDCE carefully and methodically grubbed up the substructure under archaeological supervision taking care not to disturb the 12th century stonework walls which were situated on site.
